Description
A William IV period writing table in mahogany. This table has dummy drawers to the reverse so could easily be used as a free standing centre table. The one piece top has a lovely choice of figured timber. Two concealed frieze drawers. The end pedestal columns are tapering and terminate within a petal design collar. Carved C scroll feet with original semi concealed castors. Original table of good quality in a useful mid range size, with a waxed patination which glows a mid brown colour. C1830.
